Alan Greenberg, Chair of the ALAC, has asked that a call for comments be made on the first draft of the ALAC Statement on the Cross Community Working Group (CWG) on Naming Related Functions Draft Transition Proposal<https://community.icann.org/x/YoEHAw>.

Please submit your comments for the first draft by Monday 15 December 2014 at 22:00 UTC. Comments should be preferably posted in the Workspace<https://community.icann.org/x/YoEHAw> using the comments function. Nevertheless, if you wish to make substantive comments, you may comment on the clean PDF or Word versions and send to staff at atlarge.icann.org<mailto:staff at atlarge.icann.org>.

Comments received by Monday 15 December 2014 at 22:00 UTC will be considered for the second draft. Further comments received prior to Friday 19 December at 23:59 UTC will be considered for the final version.
