[ALAC-Announce] NOW OPEN: ALAC Vote on Draft Statement on Rec6 CWG Report

Dear All,

The Chair of the ALAC requested the Staff to start a five day online vote
on the Draft ALAC Statement on Recommendation 6 Community Working Group
Report.

The question to be put will be the following:

Do you support the ratification of the ALAC Draft Statement on
Recommendation 6 Community Working Group Report  for communication to the
relevant Public Comment process?

With possible answers:
Yes
No
Abstain

The document was sent to the public consultation on the Community Working
Group Report on Implementation of GNSO New gTLD Recommendation Number 6 on
22 October 2010 with a note saying that the document was undergoing the
internal ratification process (see
http://forum.icann.org/lists/cwg-report-rec6/msg00003.html)

You can track votes as they come in under:
https://www.bigpulse.com/p12786. There is also a link entitled ³See who
voted², which allows you to see who has voted so far.

A separate email with their voting credentials has been sent to the
members of the ALAC recently. Please contact staff at atlarge.icann.org if
you did not receive your credentials so far.

The vote will remain open until Friday, 29 October at 2359 UTC.
