Dear Maureen and Cheryl,
I have lots of respect for both of you for the wonderful job you have been
doing in ICANN however I find it very disrespectful, and insulting to this
community that you are trying to interfere in something as sensitive as an
election.
All over the world, it is never acceptable to do this. It is acceptable for
you to be part of the mailing list but for God's sake elections are
sensitive issues and internal affairs of the community. What both of you
have done is the same thing a lot of people from Russia were deported for
from the US and we all know what has been going on. My example here is just
to let you understand the gravity of what you are doing. I do not believe
anyone from this community would be allowed to do same in your own RALO but
you think it is acceptable to do this in AFRALO cos we are Africans (as
usual).
I believe as a community we need to address this infringement and  I would
suggest (and passionately take it up if appointed by this community)   to
take this up with Empowered community.
This is not acceptable in any way
Even if Mohammed has his fact wrong I think Cheryl whom I look up too has
gone beyond what I can swallow by disrespecting an entire community by
trying to defend her beloved 'daughter'

Going Forward I seek the permission of the leadership of AFRALO to take
this to the Empowered community.
