Dear all,

It's good that we are seeing a lot of new members to the group. However I
just like to provide some clarification on process. The work of the ROP WG
started since 2014 with members joining along the way. There are a number
of recommendations that the working group have drafted and that is what was
presented to the ALSes during the general assembly in ZA.
Those recommendations and the new one that has been proposed by Pastor
Peter will all still come back to the ALSes for their consideration and
approval. I am saying this so that people within AFRALO will understand the
following:

1. The ultimate decision is not within the ROP WG but for the entire ALSes
within AFRALO.

2. Whatever the working group come out with is a draft that will still come
back here to the larger group for consideration.

3. There are a number of recommendation that the working group is
discussing and that of "term limits" that has just been proposed is just
one of them.

4. The work of the working group is open and can be followed on the wiki
even if you are not a member of the group, you are free to provide your
comments on the wiki:

I think we need the full complement of this house to debate this, so the
group should be open to all.

I think this working group must remain open to all because it is virtually
all members who are intersted.
