[AFRI-Discuss] FY17 COMMUNITY REQUEST FORM CAFEC

We have the human resource for training, a data center with UNIVERSITIC, equipment for research, collecting and processing data.

 However, among our major concerns, we want:
 -optimize the use of bandwidth by installing DNS caches at the exchange points and in enterprises;
 - Redeploy most of the servers in the country starting with the dot cd. Almost all servers in the DRC are hosted outside the country. Baudouin

This clarification is necessary because I found myself in trouble when the budget estimate.
We confine certain activities to avoid the magnification of the budget.
As you can see, we have two phases:
-The first phase of the training of trainers in Kinshasa. The candidates come from 26 provinces of the DRC. We are in the process of decentralized administration. 4 suplémentaires candidates for both the monitoring and evaluation while continuing to expand training to the central government, businesses and individuals.

-The second phase of training will take place in the 26 provinces of the DRC. It is for us to find solution approaches for connecting local communities, villages, schools, SME ... From this perspective, we want to have a DNS forum well rooted into the deep villages of the DRC.
This also contributes to the virtual visibilty to these communities by supporting mainly the production of local content, even in the communally spoken languages.
