I concur with Seun. Like every otter structure within ICANN , the NOMCOM should be regionally represented. By the way, when did Africa become internet reliant ? So using the same standard to evaluate qualification with those who invented and has been ahead for decades is just a way of giving a dog a bad name in order to hang it.
Africa should be represented and ICANN loses nothing therein.
So, I think the AFRALO secretariat should express our concerns please. We should not take every excuse for marginalizing a continent as valid and well intentioned.
