Hi Peters,

 

As I told you during the last teleconference, we don’t have yet the official
agreement of ICANN about the pooling the 3 funding allocations and giving
them to AFRALO. It seems that it’s in the right way, but we are still
waiting. One we receive it, we will address the question of who will
participate in the Dakar meeting. It will be treated in AFRALO meeting not
in the organizing committee meeting.

May I ask if 28th Conference call will decide the procedure for the
selection of the AFRALO members to benefit from the 18 slots ceded to us?

 

Or has the process of selection began? Or will it be ONE Representative from
each Afralo Group member?

Do respond ASAP.

Hello, all,

 

A call for members has been put out for a drafting team to develop a Whois
Service Requirements Survey.  The group is looking for volunteers who
already have relevant backgrounds/expertise.

 

The ExCom has asked staff to forward this call for volunteers to the
At-Large Technical Issues WG.

 

Please inform the ExCom of any interest you may have in volunteering for
this drafting team or of any suggestions you may have of At-Large members
who should be approached.
